Dress Shopping: Bridesmaids Edition

You've found your wedding dress, now it's time to pick out dresses for your fabulous ladies! As styles have evolved over the years, so have the dress shops. If you want more variety and flexibility when picking out those dresses, I've done the research for you!

I'm a bride too! My wedding day is coming up this fall, so it was definitely time to start looking into bridesmaids dresses. I went home to West Palm Beach and out with my mom and Maid of Honor, who just so happens to be my sister! We came across the cutest shop - Bella Bridesmaids. I was thrilled to find that they were not only located in my home town, but also all through the U.S.! I have the majority of my bridal party living in Florida, but there's one that lives all the way in Northern California. She was my best friend from college, so it was a must to have here stand by my side on wedding day and make sure getting the bridesmaids dress to her wasn't going to be an issue.

We booked our appointment at Bella Bridesmaids the week of and headed to the store that Friday! Before our appointment the stylist recommended checking out their dresses online and emailing over the designs I liked best, making for an overall smooth experience. They are known for having the largest collection of bridesmaids dresses from the world’s leading designers, so this was perfect to narrow down my selection and not feel overwhelmed during the appointment. When arriving, I was pleased to see that we had the whole store by ourselves. I've been to shops before where it's chaotic and almost like a "fend for yourself" situation, so this was refreshing. Faren was our personal stylist and is also the owner of the shop! She greeted us with a smile on her face and made us feel at home in the cute and cozy shop.

We went over different designer options with Faren, that met our budget and the colors I wanted. My main color is plum with pops of wine and greenery throughout. I was torn on having all of my bridesmaids in the same color or having shades of purple/wine to make them stand out. Faren was awesome and gave us her advice, without being pushy. She shared how our bouquets would really pop against the solid aubergine dresses I picked out. I was sold on that look and we went with the solid aubergine color for all of the bridesmaids.

While having Hayley, my maid of honor, try on the dresses, we ended up loving a lot of the designs presented to us. After trying on about 5 dresses, we found "the one"! The color and design was just so on point with my overall vision for the girls so I was like "sign me up"! Our next steps with Faren was creating an account on their online portal. From there the selected dress was shared and I began adding my bridesmaids to the portal. They all hands down LOVED the dress. The dress not only fits my style and color scheme, but it is meant to fit everyone's body type. I wanted to make sure that whatever I chose for my bridesmaids that they feel confident and beautiful on wedding day, and this option definitely checked those boxes.

Like I said before, there are so many shops online nowadays or the more well known locations worldwide. However, I promise you Bella Bridesmaids is worth the experience! Best part... they are franchised shops so you are supporting a small business owner when buying from them. They have 55+ showrooms across the country, giving bridesmaids the extra special attention that a bride experiences when trying out her dress. All of their dresses start at $150 and go up from their depending on the designer you choose. They have everything from Jenny Yoo to Hayley Paige! But no matter your budget, the quality is still there. Also, they add a nice little incentive when bridesmaids purchase their dress within two weeks of you visiting the store!
