A Whimsical Woodsy Wedding

Take me back to last fall where we celebrated Madi and Rigo’s wedding at The Acre Orlando. Their big day was an incredible experience to plan and design. Our couple's imaginative minds allowed us to take a fall garden wedding concept and turn it into a colorful and whimsical dreamy setting!

We pulled some of my favorite wedding vendors for their big day! The floral details from Bluegrass Chic were breathtaking. We loved the woodsy arch that looked as if it were growing from the ground up. As we entered reception, little butterflies sprouting out of moss and bright pops of yellow, blues and orange floral brought their vision to life. We mixed in candles to create a romantic and intimate setting at each table. After ceremony, we loaded Madi & Rigos sweetheart table with their floral to tie in the final touches.

Madi and Rigo's wedding was full of trendy surprises. We set a bright orange After The Tone phone in The Acre's little white chapel. Guests escaped the festivities to leave Madi & Rigo messages throughout the night - some sweet and thoughtful and others were drunken, yet endearing messages. This alternative guest book is definitely a trend here to stay.

Ocean hawks hung disco balls from the trees and mixed in their rustic farm tables to add to the outdoor woodsy vibe. A chair affair set the funky lounge furniture in my favorite area The Acre- the roofless patio. Madi and Rigo had the sweetest portrait shots taken here just after their first look!

Their wedding invitations perfectly reflected the vibe! We worked with Papel Custom Design. I originally found their shop on Etsy for my own wedding and just loved the unique invitation designs they offered. Madi had a close friend design her invitations and then Kim with Papel took it from there to bring it to life. I knew Papel would be perfect for the job and will always have them as my go-to for unique wedding invitations!

Madi's Bouquet from Bluegrass Chic was so intricate and represented her overall style to a tea! We loved the woodsy, wildflower look with the array of colors ranging from burnt orange to light blue tones. We had many planning meetings to express the details Madi wanted and Bluegrass Chic nailed every single one!

Madi is an artist, so one of her close friends insisted on creating a painting for them during their wedding as a gift. Mac De Sol setup a station near reception and painted a special piece to reflect the couple. Guests walked past and watched his creation throughout the night, making it a memorable experience for everyone!

When a couple is considering a dessert bar, I immediately think of Farida with Florida Candy Buffets. She is so incredible with her design and desserts in general so she will forever be my go-to recommendation for our couples. Madi and Rigo hired Farida and this was the result! My personal favorites are her white chocolate covered Oreo cookies and bedazzled strawberries. Not only do all of her desserts taste amazing, but the design is on point every single time! No matter what your theme or color scheme is, Farida has your back!

No details were untouched, so when discussing the cake design Madi shared a picture of a vintage heart shaped cake. This design dates back to the early 20th century and is here to stay! When she shared this design, I knew we had to have Michelle from Bakers Cottage Cakes. Her cake designs are always so incredible and intricate. We adored the bride and groom dinosaurs as their cake topper - too cute!

As the night came to a close, we lined Madi and Rigo's guests in front of the tiny white chapel with mini bubbles and bubble guns in hand. Madi and Rigo exited out of the white chapel to colorful bubbles floating around them. It was the perfect end to a magical day!
