Hello! My name is Kelsey Johnson and I am the owner of Simply Enchanted Events. I am a true Florida girl, born and raised in the beautiful city of West Palm Beach. After growing up in South Florida, I became an Eagle and pursued my Bachelors Degree in Resort and Hospitality Management at Florida Gulf Coast University. During my college career, I had the privilege of becoming a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity, planning social events and connecting with amazing women. After about six years of living in Fort Myers, I followed my heart and made the move to Central Florida to be with, my now husband, Dj.

I love cuddling with my little Corgis, Jasper + Charlie, while watching rom-coms or true crime TV shows on Netflix. I am a “Swiftie” but also love rock and heavy metal bands like Falling In Reverse! My husband and I love going to all the rock shows and enjoy venturing out to the Orlando theme parks on our days off together!

I became a Certified Wedding Planner back in 2015 while working as a Hotel Catering Sales Manager. After working in hotels and resorts for 8 years, I knew it was time to branch out and open Simply Enchanted Events!

Being the Owner of this amazing company truly feels like a dream every day. I absolutely love what I do and it shows through our work. I cannot wait to learn all about you and your wedding day. Let's make your vision a reality!

Kayla Plante

Hi future couples, my name is Kayla and I am the Lead Planner for Simply Enchanted Events!

Originally from Hollywood, FL, I moved to Orlando to pursue my Bachelors Degree at in Hospitality Management at University of Central Florida. While working with Kelsey, I discovered my passion for wedding planning and in 2022, I became a Certified Wedding Planner. Over the past two years, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Kelsey and immersing myself in everything related to weddings.

I cannot wait to meet all the amazing couples out there and make your dreams come true with the most special day ever!

Ashley Babbit

Hello! I'm Ashley Babbit, a Lead Planner at Simply Enchanted Events. I’ve been with the team since May 2024 and even had Kelsey plan my wedding in June.

I grew up in West Fargo, North Dakota, and earned my Bachelor's in Event Management from UCF's Rosen College in 2020. While at UCF, I was involved in leadership roles, including serving as President of the student chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants. I became a Certified Wedding and Events Planner in 2019 and have experience with various venues and planning companies.

I currently volunteer on the Rosen College Alumni Board and manage social media for my church.

In my free time, I love all things weddings, enjoy country music and swing dancing with my husband, and have a travel goal of visiting all 50 states. Weddings are my passion, and I’m dedicated to creating stress-free, memorable experiences for my couples!
